Thursday, August 20th  Drei Mönche bei der Brotzeit (1885) — Eduard von Grützner August's Beer Buzz comes with a Belgian accent. Mike Pires has assembled six of the country's most celebrated ales, including a Tripel, a Trappist, a strong dark ale that drinks like liquid velvet, and an Orval that has inspired more beer geek arguments than we care to count. Five dollars. No passport. Monks optional.

Friday, August 21st  Tuscany has a way of making everything feel more alive, and the wines are no exception. We open with a beautifully aged Super Tuscan, a 100% Merlot from Barone Ricasoli that sets the tone beautifully, before moving through Chianti and into the heart of Montalcino to discover the heights that Sangiovese can achieve. Whether you love Italian wine or are just dipping your toe, this is one not to miss.

Saturday, August 22nd  The Northern Rhône is one of France's most dramatic wine regions, where Syrah clings to impossibly steep granite slopes and Viognier perfumes the air above Condrieu. Here, we'll explore the full range of what the region has to offer, from an entry-level Viognier and village-level Crozes-Hermitage to the granite-driven intensity of Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage at its most commanding.
