Three bottles worth knowing about this week: an overachieving Bordeaux that belongs on every short list, a Sancerre from one of the Loire's most beloved family estates, and a milestone Napa Cab that made history once and is turning heads all over again.

First, the 2022 Haut-Peyrat, Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux is back in stock, and it's one of the best buys on our shelves right now. A 95-point score from Decanter's lead Bordeaux critic, a detailed and thoughtful assessment, is attention-grabbing at any price. At under $20, it's genuinely hard to believe. The bottle delivers brilliant deep red-to-black fruit, generous without being heavy, with lively acidity and well-managed tannins that speak to everything that made the 2022 vintage so appealing. Drink it now with pleasure, or give it time to show what it's really made of.

Next, after working with brothers Jean-Marie and François Cherrier for over 20 years, their Sancerre remains one of the best values in the category. The 2025 Cherrier Frères Sancerre comes from a domaine founded in 1930 and now in its fourth generation of family hands. Limestone and calcareous clay soils lend the wine its signature character: bright citrus, chalky minerality, and a light floral lift that carries through to a clean, dry finish. It pairs beautifully with seafood and cheese, and consistently ranks among the most crowd-pleasing Sauvignon Blancs from anywhere in the world.

Finally, 2023 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "S.L.V - 50th Anniversary of The Judgement of Paris Tasting" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made to honor fifty years since the bottle that changed everything, and it carries that legacy with confidence. Scoring 98 points, it's a fitting tribute to one of Napa's most storied vineyards.
