First up: the 2024 Les Vignerons de Tavel "Cuvée Royale" is a benchmark expression from France’s premier rosé-only appellation. Sourced exclusively from vineyards planted on the region’s iconic galets roulés (large rolled stones), this deeply hued, full-bodied rosé delivers the richness and structure that define Tavel—balanced by the freshness and finesse of top-tier pink wine. Produced by the renowned Cave de Tavel co-op and its network of meticulous growers, the "Cuvée Royale" offers serious pedigree and substance for just $16.99.

Next up, the Sean Thackrey "Pleiades XXXI Old Vines" is a one-of-a-kind California red, made all the more compelling by the visionary legacy of its late creator. This multi-vintage, old-vine blend—featuring Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Carignan, Pinot Noir, Viognier, and Petite Sirah—is aged separately then masterfully unified into a seamless, supremely drinkable whole. Notes of plum, raspberry, violet, and spice swirl through a juicy, vibrant frame. Complex yet crushable, it’s a fitting tribute to Thackrey’s maverick genius—and a perfect case-buy to have on hand anytime.

Finally, the 2019 Château Dalem offers an exceptional combination of pedigree and polish from one of the Right Bank’s best-kept secrets. This double 94-point Fronsac marries dark fruit, crushed stone, and floral aromatics with a mouth-coating, finely structured palate. Rich yet fresh, it’s got the texture, depth, and minerality of a wine twice its price. Already drinking beautifully and built to age, this is a “smoking deal” (Jeb Dunnuck) and a must-have for savvy Bordeaux lovers.
