This event is no cost for wine club members, plus one additional guest! $5 for non-member walk-ins.

Legacy in the Rhône: A Château de Montfaucon Tasting Friday, June 6th  Tucked along the Rhône just across from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château de Montfaucon stands on medieval foundations, its current wines echoing centuries of deeply rooted tradition. Since reclaiming the family estate in the 1990s, Rodolphe de Pins has revitalized forgotten Rhône varieties and championed field blends that speak to the nuances of each vineyard parcel. This tasting offers an in depth look into the estate’s soulful expressions—from the mineral-laced Clairette to the savory depths of old-vine Lirac. Each wine invites exploration into a lesser-known but historically rich appellation where texture, structure, and provenance take center stage. We’ll end the evening with a magnum of “La Côte,” a generous and contemplative final pour from the Côtes-du-Rhône.

Pinot Noir from Around the World Saturday, June 7th  Pinot Noir has captivated winemakers and drinkers alike for centuries, prized for its transparency to terroir and the expressive variations it takes on across the globe. Originating in Burgundy—where monks first mapped its potential on limestone slopes—it now thrives in far-reaching soils, from the volcanic ash of Chile’s Maule Valley to wind-battered vineyards in Central Otago. In Oregon’s Tualatin Hills, marine sediment lends structure to this thin-skinned grape, while on the Sonoma Coast, coastal fog and fractured sandstone coax out layered nuance. Each wine in this tasting captures a snapshot of place, climate, and intent, showing how Pinot Noir adapts without ever losing its identity. Whether rooted in tradition or shaped by newer winemaking frontiers, these six wines reveal just how far Pinot Noir has traveled—and how much it still has to say.
