First, for those already enjoying spring weather and those wistfully longing for it, we have the refreshing 2025 Anonymous Wine Collective Oakville Sauvignon Blanc. Anonymously bottled, this small handcrafted lot comes from a renowned 100-point winemaker and showcases estate-grown fruit from 30+ year-old vines in the heart of Oakville. Delicious now yet capable of evolving for 5 to 8 years, it is a classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc that reflects its Oakville pedigree. Next, Champagne lovers should take note of Michel Arnould "Acuité" Grand Cru Extra Brut Champagne, a standout grower bottling that seriously overdelivers for the price. A blend of 70% Pinot Noir from Verzenay and 30% Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, it shows notes of hazelnut, baguette toast, and bright cherry framed by crisp acidity and chalky minerality. Balanced and elegant, it drinks like a beautifully poised Brut, finishing long, dry, and oh-so-easy to return to glass after glass. Also just in are other Grand Cru greats in the stellar Michel Arnould lineup.

Finally, with America’s semiquincentennial fast approaching, why not gear up with a rum distilled entirely during the bicentennial? The 1976 Destileria Colombiana 41 Year Old "Silver Seal x Distinctive Spirits - Ancient Rum Series" Cask Strength Sherry Finished Colombian Rum (750ml) was filled into sherry butt for an additional three years before being bottled at vatted cask strength in 2017. Ultra-deep mahogany and remarkably viscous, this 41-year-old rum delivers waves of maple, toasted nuts, salted caramel, mocha, and toffee with a long, decadent finish. It is exceedingly rare for K&L to secure stocks as distinctive as these remarkable barrels of Colombian rum, especially at such compelling prices.
