Few names are as deeply intertwined with Malbec’s rise as Catena, the pioneering winery that redefined high-altitude viticulture and put Argentine wine on the world stage. For over a century, the Catena family has pushed the boundaries of winemaking in Mendoza, proving that Malbec—and other classic grape varieties—can achieve both structure and nuance when grown in the right conditions. Sourced from the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza and the Uco Valley, these wines reveal the region’s layered history, where ancient soils and modern techniques converge to create something both bold and expressive.

Celebrating the Stunning 2022 Saturday, April 19th  Burgundy’s 2022 vintage stands out as one of the most exciting and generous in recent memory, marked by a near-perfect growing season that brought both quality and quantity—an increasingly rare combination. Warm, dry conditions were balanced by timely rainfall and cool nights, allowing for exceptional phenolic ripeness. The result: wines that are both expressive and poised, offering a beautiful snapshot of a vintage that bridges classic structure with modern ripeness. Fresh off an immersive trip to Burgundy, our buyer Alex Pross has returned energized by what he tasted and has handpicked this tasting to showcase the most compelling expressions of the 2022 vintage. The lineup captures the best of the Côte d’Or: wines that highlight the vintage’s strengths—pure fruit, lifted aromatics, and a remarkable sense of transparency and site expression that Burgundy lovers crave. From the floral, finely etched Pinot Noir of Morey-Saint-Denis to the tense, crystalline Chardonnay of Meursault, 2022 has delivered wines that invite immediate exploration and promise years of evolving complexity.
