First up, a rare find from the Santa Cruz Mountains, the 2021 Lexington “Alma – Gist Ranch” White showcases just how compelling a Bordeaux-inspired blend can be when crafted from mountain fruit. Composed of 61% Sauvignon Blanc and 39% Sémillon, this estate-grown wine delivers both pedigree and individuality, marking it as one of the most distinctive whites from California today. At just $19.95 this is a no-brainer. Next, from one of Barolo’s most respected traditionalists, Fratelli Alessandria, comes a standout from Monforte’s celebrated Gramolere cru.
