Freshly back in stock after selling out almost immediately, the Constantine “Solarris” Blanc de Noirs is one of the most compelling Champagne buys of the year. K&L Champagne Buyer Gary Westby calls it “half-price delicious Champagne… I’d have been happy to pay $60 for the experience, but at this price—I’m casing up!” At just $29.99 (Elsewhere $60), this grower Champagne, crafted entirely from Meunier and aged with a solera dating back to 2009, delivers both pedigree and unbeatable value. Secure it now while it lasts. Next: From one of Brunello’s founding houses, the 2020 Costanti is—per Kerin O’Keefe—“an absolute stunner” (98). The Costanti name is interwoven with Montalcino’s history—Tito Costanti presented a bottle labeled “Brunello” as early as 1869—and under Andrea Costanti the estate remains a benchmark of tradition, sourcing Sangiovese from galestro-rich Colle al Matrichese and aging solely in large Slavonian casks.
