This event is no cost for wine club members, plus one additional guest! $5 for non-member walk-ins.

Sancerre & Its Satellites Friday, May 2nd  The limestone hills of Sancerre have long been a benchmark for Sauvignon Blanc, but the story doesn't end there. This focused tasting brings together the wines of Sancerre and its lesser-known neighbors—Quincy, Menetou-Salon, and Pouilly-Fumé—each shaped by its own landscape, climate, and deeply rooted traditions. These are wines that reflect not just where they’re from, but how they’ve been made over generations. The highlight of the tasting is the Dagueneau "Silex"—by far the crown jewel of the lineup, and one of the most iconic bottlings in the entire Loire Valley. Sourced from some of the most distinctive vineyards in Pouilly-Fumé, it’s crafted using meticulous barrel aging and low-intervention methods that speak to the enduring legacy of the late, legendary “wild man” of the region, Didier Dagueneau. Any chance to taste this bottling is indeed extremely rare. This tasting is an opportunity to trace the contours of the Loire through the lens of its growers—those who work quietly and precisely to bring out the soul of their land.
