Redwood City: Bardstown Bourbon: The Modern Bourbon Experience Franciacorta Icons: A Ca’ del Bosco Celebration Thursday, November 20th  Founded in 1968 by Maurizio Zanella, Ca’ del Bosco transformed a modest Lombard farmhouse into one of Italy’s most technically advanced sparkling wine cellars. Their estate in Erbusco pioneered modern Franciacorta through meticulous grape selection, gravity-flow winemaking, and an innovative “air bubble” washing system that ensures purity before fermentation. Each cuvée embodies decades of dedication to precision and the expression of Franciacorta’s limestone-rich soils. This tasting explores how Ca’ del Bosco’s meticulous approach has defined the identity of metodo classico in Italy and continues to shape its evolution today.

Pahlmeyer: Napa’s Pursuit of Greatness Friday, November 21st  Founded in 1986 by Jayson Pahlmeyer, this Napa Valley estate began with a bold dream—to craft wines rivaling the best of Bordeaux. Early collaborations with legendary winemakers such as Randy Dunn and Helen Turley established a reputation for structure and longevity rooted in mountain-grown fruit and meticulous blending. Today, Pahlmeyer continues to balance heritage with innovation, maintaining its commitment to single-vineyard precision and expressive Napa character. This tasting traces the evolution of Pahlmeyer’s vision—from its foundational Bordeaux-style reds to its now-celebrated Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blanc.
