K&L Tastings: Grand Italian Tasting, "Grand Crus" of the Central Coast

The rosters are set for this week's in-store tastings, so please mark your calendars for an evening (or two) of fascinating and fun exploration with your fellow wine lovers and our K&L staff. In addition, we regularly host or participate in other special tastings and dinners. Read below for more details on our upcoming schedule of wine and spirits events.
Special Events
Grand Italian Tasting Friday, December 20th  Join us for one of our most anticipated Italian wine tastings of the year. This lineup, featuring some serious Tuscan star power, is not to be missed! From Ca del Bosco’s Cuvee Prestige Franciacorta, Italy’s answer to Champagne, to the legendary names of Antinori, Casanova di Neri, and Gaja. This isn’t just a tasting—it’s a celebration of some of Italy’s finest wines.

Nickel & Nickel / Far Niente Saturday, December 21st  Join us for an exclusive wine tasting featuring the iconic wines of Nickel & Nickel and Far Niente. Known for their meticulous, single-vineyard approach, Nickel & Nickel brings the essence of Napa’s diverse terroirs into every bottle, creating wines with striking personality and precision. Far Niente, a Napa classic since 1885, offers a taste of timeless elegance with its velvety Cabernet Sauvignon and beautifully layered Chardonnay. This is more than a tasting—it's a journey through the rich history and innovative spirit of two legendary wineries that have defined luxury in Napa Valley winemaking.

Walk-ins permitted as capacity allows. Line-up subject to change. The "Grand Crus" of the Central Coast Saturday, December 21st  Explore the throughline and polarity between the hyper-coastal Sta. Rita Hills and the storied Seven Springs Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. Domaine de la Côte and Evening Land Vineyards zero in on estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from two of the West Coast’s most distinctive vineyards and will be pouring their most allocated wines with the 2020 Bloom’s Field and 2020 La Côte Pinot Noirs and the 2022 La Source Pinot Noir and 2022 Summum Chardonnay. Sandhi follows the maison model, sourcing grapes from both historic vineyards and more forward-thinking sites, seen with the 2021 Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir and the 2022 Rinconada Chardonnay.
