Special Tastings and Events The rosters are set for this week's in-store tastings, so please mark your calendars for an afternoon (or two) of fascinating and fun exploration with fellow wine and spirit lovers and our K&L staff. These all-levels tastings are a fun and engaging way to deepen your wine knowledge—and drink delicious wine, of course! Using only your senses, you’ll attempt to identify the grape variety, region, and even the vintage. Taste your way through a selection of mystery wines from classic regions around the world, with expert guidance from our knowledgeable K&L staff. Part game, part education, this experience has something for everyone—whether you're new to blind tastings, just starting your wine journey, or a seasoned enthusiast looking to sharpen your skills. Famille Perrin: Beaucastel & Beyond Friday, July 11th  There’s family-run, and then there’s Famille Perrin—a Rhône dynasty that’s been working the same ancient soils since 1909, when Pierre Perrin's father-in-law, Pierre Traminer, acquired the estate. Over the years, they’ve become known for their quiet leadership in organic and biodynamic viticulture, letting grapes like Mourvèdre and Grenache do what they do best in the stony, wind-swept vineyards of Beaucastel. This tasting is a look at how one family’s generational mindset and hands-off approach can turn a handful of parcels into something enduring, expressive, and deeply tied to place.

Brunellos & Super Tuscans: A Tribute to Tuscany’s Boldest Bottles Saturday, July 12th  Italian Buyer Orazio Campoli has hand-selected this show-stopping lineup of Tuscan greats! The region’s most celebrated wines were born from humble beginnings—small farms, ancient monasteries, and family-run estates that quietly shaped the character of the wines and reimagined what was possible on coastal and hillside soils. This tasting brings together bottles that speak not to opulence for its own sake, but to the patience, place, and persistence that have made these wines enduring benchmarks for collectors and longtime devotees of Italian wine.
