Special Tastings and Events The rosters are set for this week's in-store tastings, so please mark your calendars for an afternoon (or two) of fascinating and fun exploration with fellow wine and spirit lovers and our K&L staff. This event is no cost for wine club members, plus one additional guest! $5 for non-member walk-ins.

Discovering Portugal Friday, August 8th  Join us for a vibrant journey through Portugal’s diverse wine regions—from the brisk Atlantic breezes of Vinho Verde to the structured reds of Bairrada and the timeworn elegance of aged Madeira. This lineup showcases Portugal’s remarkable range, with sparkling rosé, crisp white Arinto, richly textured Douro red, and a rare 1996 Reserva from Bairrada. We’ll close with a deeply historic Verdelho Madeira from the Rare Wine Company. Whether you’re new to Portuguese wine or a seasoned enthusiast, this tasting offers a compelling look at one of Europe’s most dynamic wine landscapes.

Pioneers of Australian Wine Saturday, August 9th  This tasting brings together a cross-section of Australia’s most progressive and influential estates—producers who have redefined the potential of their respective regions through precision farming, thoughtful winemaking, and an unwavering focus on site. From the crystalline clarity of Ministry of Clouds' Clare Valley Riesling to the benchmark single-vineyard Pinot Noir of Oakridge in the Yarra Valley, each wine here reflects a deep commitment to place and innovation.
