In-Store Tastings
Island Wines of Italy Friday, February 28th  K&L is proud to partner with Tanaro River Imports to bring you a special lineup of their best island wines of Italy. Tanaro River specializes in bringing wines from small, family-owned Italian estates that prioritize responsible viticulture and social impact, often going beyond standard sustainability practices. Their producers not only create authentic regional wines but also contribute to their communities through initiatives like employing vulnerable populations, training workers on climate resilience, and supporting local causes.

A Taste of Iberia Saturday, March 1st  Wine buyer Kirk Walker has carefully curated this lineup, and true to form, he’s slipped in a fun and unique bottle from Portugal alongside a stellar selection of Spanish wines that showcase the bold flavors and rich traditions of Spain, Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula as a whole. Spain and Portugal’s winemaking cultures are defined by a rich selection of indigenous grape varieties, each with its own unique character. We’ll highlight classic regions like Rioja and take you to places like Bierzo, where the Mencía grape has found a new voice in recent years, producing wines with vibrant freshness and complexity. This tasting will offer a dive into the diverse, yet unmistakably Iberian, character of wines that are as rich in history as they are in flavor.
