A Legendary Bordeaux Cellar from a Single Owner  The Lincoln Highway Collection represents a carefully assembled collection of blue-chip Bordeaux, acquired exclusively through first-tranche en primeur allocations upon their original release. Built with patience and discipline over decades, the collection reflects a singular focus on the most revered estates of the region, including Lafite Rothschild, Latour, d’Yquem, Pétrus, Pavie, Angélus, Ausone, and Hosanna. Upon arrival from Bordeaux, the wines were transferred directly to a purpose-built subterranean cellar in Southern California, where they have remained undisturbed in a single-owner environment under stable temperature and humidity. One might aptly describe the cellar as a vault-like environment, designed with long-term preservation of a precious asset in mind. A large portion of the wines remain in their original wooden cases, maintaining an unbroken chain of provenance from château release to the present day. The consignor, an experienced and meticulous collector, approached each acquisition with a guiding emphasis on provenance, source integrity, and the long view of cellaring.
