One of the great over-delivering gems in collectible Bordeaux is 2019 Léoville-Poyferré, a Left Bank icon that just arrived in stock. The Cabernet-friendly 2019 vintage provided the perfect raw materials for the team at this famed St-Julien estate, resulting in a wine that easily rivals their all-time greats. With a character that allows it to be enjoyed throughout its entire drinking window, it is one of those wines that beautifully embodies Bordeaux while appealing to wine lovers of all stripes. We've been a huge fans of the wines coming from Martin Woods, but apparently we're not the only ones. Last month, Audrey Frick reviewed recent Oregon releases and had both the 2021 Koosah and Jessie James Pinot Noir bottlings from Martin Woods at the top of the publication, along with the region's most prestigious bottlings. With the consensus acclaim piling up, there is little doubt that the wines coming from Martin Woods these days deserve the attention of any discerning collector or wine lover. New arrivals from Old Particular are here! We’re always thrilled with the exceptional quality of one of our prized labels here at K&L, but this season is a different story altogether. With spirit prices dropping, we have a selection of bottles that deliver the same caliber and character you’ve come to love from Old Particular, with the vast majority priced under $100. This will certainly be a spirits season to celebrate.
