Its small, thick-skinned berries thrive under diverse skies, translating soil and climate into structure, depth, and remarkable longevity. Across continents and centuries, winemakers have turned to Cabernet Sauvignon—and blends led by it—for their ability to endure and evolve. This tasting traces that global journey, exploring how one grape has become a shared language for conveying place, time, and the thoughtful artistry of viticulture. Let’s explore Cabernet’s global story—how one variety has become the foundation for some of the world’s most expressive and age-worthy wines

 San Francisco, Monday November 3rd
         Los Angeles, Tuesday November 4th
One of the country’s premier Bordeaux events is nearly here—the Tour des Deux Rives. Held once every two years, this remarkable gathering brings together wine lovers and collectors from across California with some of Bordeaux’s most prestigious producers. The Grand Tasting showcases more than two dozen exceptional wines from leading Bordeaux estates, including Mouton, Hosanna, Haut-Bailly, Ducru-Beaucaillou, and Pichon Lalande. Many of these wines retail for several times the price of admission, yet guests will also gain extraordinary insight through tastings guided by representatives from the châteaux themselves. We'll be starting off the tasting with a glass of Louis Roederer Champagne to wake up your palettes before diving into these exquisite selections. Following a Cristal reception, The Winemaker Dinner offers a rare chance to share an intimate evening with Bordeaux luminaries from its most celebrated estates. Guests will enjoy multiple benchmark vintages paired with a three-course meal, preceded by a Cristal reception that sets the tone for an unforgettable night. Considering both the caliber of wines poured and the personal access to Bordeaux’s great châteaux, the value is undeniable—but more importantly, the experience is truly priceless. Tickets are limited.
