For the first time in the history of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), benefits are disrupted due to the federal government shutdown. SNAP is the country's largest anti-hunger program.

While restoring partial SNAP funding is a step forward, there is still uncertainty about when benefits and paychecks will arrive.

SNAP (sometimes known as food stamps or EBT) helps provide basic needs for over 40 million people—including hard-working families, kids, seniors, and people with disabilities.

People continue to face these hardships with resolve, supported by food banks, pantries and their communities standing alongside them every day. Their resilience is extraordinary, but with grocery costs already stretching budgets to the limit, this moment calls for compassion and collective action.

In times of uncertainty, one thing is constant: people show up for each other. That's the power behind every food bank, every volunteer, every meal shared.

We need your help to see our neighbors through this unprecedented moment. Please, give what you can today.

Community feeds change. Together, we can help families and individuals stay nourished through the unexpected.
