Hello Fellow Wine Lover!
I’m writing to personally invite you to join me in Bordeaux this November with Cork + Compass Travel by Wine Enthusiast.
Bordeaux is a region that has shaped the way the world understands wine. From the classified growths of Pauillac to the limestone slopes of Saint-Émilion, this is a place where structure, history, and ambition converge in the glass. It’s also a region I’ve long studied and admired, not only for its storied estates, but for the precision and discipline that define its greatest wines.
Throughout my career, wine has been at the center of everything I do, whether overseeing evaluations for the Wine Enthusiast Tasting Panel, directing wine programs at Michelin-starred restaurants, or working alongside collectors and estates around the world. Bordeaux, in particular, fascinates me for its influence: its techniques, its aging philosophy, and the way its model has shaped fine wine globally. Having spent years analyzing structure and longevity in both Old World classics and Bordeaux-influenced regions, I’m excited to explore these wines with you not just as a critic, but as a fellow enthusiast.
