Planning a wine journey should feel as exciting as the destination itself. Whether you’re dreaming of Tuscany’s sunlit hills, the storied vineyards of Burgundy, or the grand châteaux of Bordeaux, our team is here to make the experience effortless from the start. Below are answers to some of the questions travelers most often ask as they begin planning their Cork+Compass adventure.

Burgundy

FAQs

What’s included in the trip price?

Your program includes accommodations, most meals, guided winery visits and tastings, local transportation during the itinerary, and gratuities for guides, drivers, and restaurant staff. Airfare is not included, allowing flexibility in how you travel.

How large are the groups?

Our journeys are intentionally intimate. Each trip is limited to a maximum of 25 travelers, creating a welcoming environment where guests quickly get to know one another while still enjoying personal attention from the host and travel team.

How much free time will I have?

Days are thoughtfully planned with tastings, cultural visits, and expert insight. Evenings and select meals are left at leisure so you can explore or relax at your own pace.

What about travelers with limited mobility?

Travelers should be comfortable walking a few miles throughout the day, often on uneven terrain and occasionally navigating stairs in historic town centers and winery estates. If you have mobility concerns, we encourage you to contact our Guest Services team to discuss whether the itinerary is a good fit.

How much do the trips cost?

Pricing varies by destination and accommodations, but most journeys range from approximately $7,000–$9,000 per person based on double occupancy. A deposit reserves your space, with the remaining balance due prior to departure.

Can I travel solo?

Absolutely. Many guests join us on their own, and the small group format makes it easy to connect with fellow travelers who share a love of wine, food, and culture.

Single accommodations are available for a supplemental cost, and our team can assist in pairing solo travelers who wish to share a room. Please contact Guest Services to explore your options.
