😸 iPhone Duo or 401(k)?

Penta ↗ — A ’90s 5-disc CD changer on iPhone Duo

Penta is a five-disc CD changer for the iPhone Duo. Load five albums, press the button, and the tray rotates with the whirr and clunk of the real thing, because John Seubert recorded all of it off his dad's actual player, which his dad handed over for the project.

Asimov 1 ↗ — The most customizable humanoid robot you can buy

Asimov 1 is a humanoid robot that arrives as a kit and takes about a week to assemble if you spend a few hours a night. It stands 1.2 metres, has 25 powered joints, comes with a walking policy already on it, and costs $20,000 to your door.

ElevenLabs Realtime ↗ — Realtime voice agent models with 570ms to first audio

Eleven Realtime is a family of speech-to-speech models where nothing in the stack is stitched together from someone else's parts. Recognition, voice activity detection, turn-taking, the language model, and the voice are all picked and tuned by ElevenLabs as one system.

Latch ↗ — The app blocker you unlock by walking to your key

Latch locks the apps you pick and makes you go and find the key. The key is a cheap NFC sticker, or a QR code you print, or a number of steps, and you leave it somewhere inconvenient: one in the kitchen, one in the car, one at the office.

Doneas ↗ — A daily accountability call with other entrepreneurs

Doneas puts you in a small group of founders on a fifteen-minute call at the same time every day, where you say what you did yesterday and what you are doing today. If you don’t turn up, someone checks on you.

Limited internet service: Two weeks after Anthropic cut off Claude from the live internet because the model couldn’t be trusted to stay in the sandbox, OpenAI announced it would do the same with its models, with training happening on cached web content.

In the fold: Apple released the iPhone Duo, its first foldable model, for the low, low starting price of…$2,000.

One ring to rule them all: Oura sued smart ring rival Ultrahuman, alleging patent infringement. Ultrahuman launched its Ring Pro in February after an earlier patent suit blocked Ultrahuman’s Ring Air from being imported into the U.S.

A new day: The Browser Company is retiring the Arc browser so it can focus on Dia, an “AI browser.” Arc accounts will be deactivated on December 22.

12345admin: 1Password launched a platform for agents so they can log into your accounts without getting access to your login info. Users get a notification when an agent tries to log in, and they can confirm it and go about their day.

An app where you add things to your cart…but never check out

“Ever added something to your cart at midnight, convinced yourself you needed it, and regretted buying it the next morning? I built almostcart around a simple idea: What if you could enjoy the shopping experience without actually spending money?” – Arvind S

A “running weather” app so you don’t have to do math

“I built ArcPace after a summer of 75°-and-humid runs that felt like running in a sauna, even at an easy pace. The weather app said ‘nice morning’; my heart rate said otherwise... I got tired of doing the mental math on every factor that matters.” – Stephen Chou

A photo log to see if your acne treatment is actually working

“I’ve been on and off treatments for years, and the hardest part is that progress is nearly invisible day to day. I’d switch products at week 3 because ‘nothing was happening,’ then wonder later if I’d quit too early. … I got frustrated enough that I built a small free tool for myself: a daily photo log that overlays your last photo so shots line up, with a quick check-in and a timeline of when you started each product.” – Stanley Okeke

Have you ever been midway through creating a launch and said to yourself, “I wish this was easier”?

Well, we made it easier.

Submitting a launch used to require a bunch of steps, and you couldn’t visualize your launch until you did all of them. Now it happens on the launch page itself; you see a working version of your launch page in front of you and just click on something to change it.

And that’s not all.

Paste your URL, and we pull in the details and any media we can find. Because we want you to get back to focusing on your product. We’ve got a checklist, so if anything is missing, you know.
