Kudos 3.0 ↗ — The AI that finds money you're missing and gets it back
Kudos 3.0 finds money you are owed and gets it back. Cards come with personalized offers you have to switch on by hand, which most people never do, so Kudos switches them on, worth about $800 a year in early testing. Its AI calls your provider and negotiates the bill down, and cancels subscriptions you forgot about, at $247 a year each. The home screen is one number for what it has recovered and one thing to do next, ranked by what it is worth to you. Tikue spent years in consumer payments at Microsoft, Google and Affirm, and his line is that every AI assistant launched this year helps you spend, while Kudos keeps none of what it saves you.
Takes for Mac ↗ — Record talking-head videos. Claude Code does the edit.
Takes records a talking-head video on the Mac with one button, camera and screen together, and a teleprompter beside the lens follows your voice as you speak. Every take lands in a plain folder next to its script. There is no timeline. Claude Code, on the plan you already pay for, cuts the silences, the ums and the restarts, makes the vertical version, adds captions in your style and drafts the posts, and you leave notes on the frame like "too fast here" and get a new cut back. Notes that matter beyond one video turn into rules it reads before the next edit, 320 notes so far and 88 rules. Marvin started it last month and has made every video since in it.
Winq ↗ — Control your Mac with a look and a wink
Winq lets you run your Mac with your face. Look at a window and it takes focus. Wink your left eye to click, your right eye for the other button, and map a few face gestures onto the shortcuts you use most. Everything it thinks it saw is confirmed in a small island in the notch, so you know what the camera read without looking away. It uses the camera already in the lid, there is nothing to buy, and it all runs on the machine. Mahmoud works across a lot of windows and most of his day went into reaching for the mouse to change which one he was in. First hundred users get a lifetime license.
CinemaLut ↗ — Any frame's color, as a LUT for yours.
CinemaLut takes the color out of a film still and puts it on your footage. Drop in the frame you like, a movie screenshot or a photo, and it measures what is actually going on in the grade: the tone curve, the tints sitting in the shadows, the midtones and the highlights, how saturated each band is. Then you drop in your own shot, log or Rec.709 from any camera, and it builds the LUT from that measurement. It runs in the browser, and there are 60 looks in there already as .cube files for Resolve, Premiere, Final Cut and CapCut. Dil got tired of the gap between seeing a grade he loved and getting anywhere near it himself.
Hintly for Google Meet™ ↗ — Real-time hints for every term you miss on Google Meet
Hintly sits in your Meet toolbar and quietly hands you the thing you have forgotten. It defines the terms and acronyms as they go past, fills in the word you are groping for, checks a claim while somebody is still making it, and keeps track of who has just been mentioned and what you have agreed to do. No bot joins the call and nothing appears in the participant list, because it reads the live captions Meet already produces. It is off until you switch it on. The maker went blank on the words semantic search in a work call, could not Google it with everyone watching, and built this instead.
