12:31 PM (Today)•madeincookware
Launch week at Made In. Flatware in Champagne, a new color on the Kettle, and a note every day on what's out and what's coming.

Hi there,

I'm writing this on my way out the door with Jake to film an exciting podcast about Made In's product origin story, which we'll share with you when it releases. Funny timing, because this month is the busiest stretch of launches we've had in a while, and it runs through Friday. Life is busy, so here's a quick recap of what we've launched and what's coming.

What's Just Released
- Seasoned Cast Iron 14" Skillet and 4 QT Braiser, two pieces purpose built for large batch holiday hosting and cooking. Jake and his team did an amazing job on the new Cast Iron line. It's hand-finished, beautiful, and made in the USA.

- 6" Stainless Clad Frying Pan. The smallest pan we make and just a small batch for the rest of the year.

- Antique Brass Butter Warmer, with lid included. This one was an internal favorite before it was a product. Liz, our in-house graphic designer (she makes all of the designed content and hand-drawn graphics you see from us), was first in line, and she wasn't alone. We originally built this piece for Italian and French restaurants that do a lot of tableside sauces.

- Back in stock: the Wood Fiber Cutting Board Set that doesn't shed microplastics and the Crystal White Wine Glasses, both gone for months.

The One I'm Most Excited About
Our Flatware is the sneakiest best product we make. It never gets the big launch, it doesn't show up in the behind-the-design videos, and it's quietly one of our best sellers. Made in Italy by a partner that's been at it for nearly two centuries and once made flatware for Italian nobility. If you've eaten at Great White in California, you've used it (they set every location with it).

My favorite review isn't on our site. It's from Emily Farris at Bon Appétit, who tests kitchen gear for a living and gets rid of almost everything. She kept ours. Two years and "hundreds of trips through the dishwasher" later, her line was: "I'm pretty sure I'm going to use this stuff until I die." Read it here.

Made In Flatware in Champagne

Today it comes in a second finish, Champagne. It's warm without being gold, and it belongs on a table with wood, linen, and white plates.

Also Today: Sand Kettle & Towels
We've had a steady stream of requests for a warmer color on the Kettle, so here it is. Sand is a warm neutral that sits between the Stainless and the Willow Green, and it's on the Kettle and the Chef Towels starting today.

I have the Stainless one at home (it matches my coffee maker), but honestly I use it more for tea. The built-in temperature gauge is the whole reason. Green tea wants around 175°F, black tea just off the boil, and most people are guessing. Two quarts, works on induction, 4.9 stars across 215 reviews.

The Chef Towels are the $25 add-on to any order: thick enough to fold into a potholder and machine washable. We keep a pile under our sink for every need.
