If you consume lots of golf swing instruction content, you’ve likely heard about why dropping the club into “the slot” in the downswing is key to hitting great shots. This helps you get that coveted in-to-out path to hit a baby draw.
One new downswing term that’s gaining more traction, however, is the “Moment of Truth”—the position of the club and body right before impact. Nail it, and you’re set up to hit a great shot. If you miss it, though, you’ll struggle with poor contact and erratic shots.
Are you hitting this position? Luckily, there’s a pretty simple way of finding out, and if you’re not nailing the “Moment of Truth,” it’s likely because of one of these two common faults.
