Greetings,
If you’re wondering why I’m playing golf in a kilt, well, don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it. I’m proud of my Scottish heritage, and that’s why I decided to dress proper for my first cover of Golf Digest. I’m home now, recharging after an up and down stretch in America where I nearly won at the Valero Texas Open and The Players, then missed the cut at Augusta. I’m loving my new Titleist driver, and I’m excited to fly back next week for the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow and then the PGA Championship at Aronimink.
A lot of people ask me why I ditched the conventional tour pro-life to go home to Oban. I want to be near my family and I still want to play shinty with the boys, but part of it is harder to explain. I did my best in this sit-down interview, which I hope you’ll read if you want to get to know the real me.
Swing free and easy,
Bob
