As the PGA Tour heads to San Diego this week for the Genesis Invitational, the spotlight once again returns to Torrey Pines, one of the country’s great municipal facilities. With affordable green fees (especially for local residents) and stunning ocean vistas atop the cliffs, it’s no wonder both the North and the South course each receive upwards of 80,000 rounds a year.
