I've been coaching the best players on tour for 20 years. Hey golfers,

I’ve had the privilege to coach the best players in the world for 20 years on tour. In that time, the game has changed significantly, with players now having access to immediate, accurate feedback on how they’re swinging, which combined with golf-specific strength and conditioning allows them to swing at speeds most of us will never be able to sniff.

It may seem strange, then, that the subject of my cover story with Golf Digest is what average players, like you, should steal from the pros. I know what you’re thinking: There’s no way I can swing like that. In some ways, I agree with you. There are many tour pro moves you should stay away from, but not every one is off limits—you might be surprised that there’s lots you can steal. You just need to know what to focus on.

To help simplify your game and mimic the best players where it matters the most, I’ve identified the nine tour pro moves that you should copy. No matter your age, handicap or body type, these moves are for you.
