Did you know? People in the U.S. are expected to eat 1.45 million chicken wings during the Big Game—enough to circle the Earth three times! Meanwhile, the amount of excess food on game day could fill an entire football stadium.

Let's change the game and turn excess into access. Donate to the Food Rescue Challenge!

And, thanks to our generous match partners, Sheryl Sandberg and Tom Bernthal, every $1 donated is DOUBLED to help us provide at least 20 meals for our neighbors facing hunger.

Kim Belcher Morris of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
For Kim, "Black History Month means everything to me."

"Especially now that I'm more mature in life and understand how important it really is to be seen, heard, and recognized," she shared with us.

Kim works as the Director of Major Gifts at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a Feeding America network partner. She sees the Food Bank as a force for good—especially by supporting her neighbors in the Black community, who face hunger more than other groups because of systemic racism.

Kim shares more of her story, and how her own heritage shapes her work at the Food Bank on the Hunger Blog.

P.S. Here's how you can help your neighbors impacted by the L.A.-area fires and other disasters.
