| Across the country, neighbors are facing real pressure from higher food and living costs and changes to nutrition programs. In every county and parish, neighbors are already stepping up, showing us that everyone has a role to play in building stronger, nourished communities. And because today is Hunger Action Day, our part to play is showing up, too, for our neighbors. For the next 15 minutes our match partner Tony Robbins is stepping up to triple every gift made to Feeding America, up to $150,000. During this Power Hour, every $1 you give can help provide at least 30 meals to families navigating difficult choices between food and basic needs. Giving is one way our community of supporters can play their part. You can join thousands of neighbors taking action locally every day—people like Jane in Roanoke, Virginia, who uses her artistic talents to advocate for community fruit trees in public parks, and Chef Genie in Waynesboro, Virginia, who cooks meals for local kids so they have the nutrition they need to learn, play and thrive. Real progress happens when every community member finds their role in the solution. When volunteers show up, advocates speak out and donors give what they can, those individual actions connect into a national movement capable of feeding millions.
