Just six days ago, Hurricane Milton tore through Florida and Georgia, driving thousands of our neighbors from their homes and compounding the devastation of Hurricane Helene just days before. Feeding America has been on the ground from the start, providing essential food and resources. I’m reaching out today with an appeal for support—donations from the community are critical to get food, water, and emergency supplies to affected families in the area. Donate now! >>
We’re working closely with food banks across six states as they assess and fix the damage, and support their staff, some of whom lost their homes in the storms. Food banks in unaffected areas have stepped in to offer food and support for the hardest-hit communities. Together, we are distributing emergency supplies including water, disaster boxes, meals, and snacks.
We are incredibly grateful for the generous support we’ve received in response to these storms. Now, continued help for our neighbors in affected communities will be critical. Every dollar you donate helps us deliver critical food and resources directly to families impacted by these disasters. Thank you for your commitment in times of crisis and beyond.
