This time of year, lots of us have football on the brain. At Feeding America, we can't help but see the parallels between our work in this classic American game.
In football, every play, yard, and tackle counts— small gains can be game changers. The movement to end hunger is no different. Small acts of kindness make tremendous gains— every donation, rescued meal, or volunteer shift moves us closer to ending hunger in America.
Get on the field and help drive hunger back one yard at a time! Your impact can be tripled, up to $150,000, right now, thanks to Sheryl Sandberg and Tom Bernthal.

It's Black History Month, and we're spotlighting the achievements of Black partners and how they're giving back to their communities, so that everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food.
Terrance Brown is one of those partners—as Director of Operations at the Los Angeles Food Bank, a Feeding America network partner, Terrance plays a critical role in daily operations. But his commitment goes beyond logistics—he's dedicated to raising awareness, lending a helping hand to his neighbors, and leading with compassion.
"Black history means to me, reflecting on yesterday, embracing today, and preparing for tomorrow," he says.
"To know that there are still people out here that are fighting the good fight, to look at the needs of others rather than just looking at the needs of themselves, that's what gives me hope."
Read more about how Terrance works in the movement to end hunger. By focusing on the unique needs of each community and leading with compassion, we can create solutions that help everyone thrive.
