We're just weeks away from summer vacation! Summer is full of fun and important social growth for kids, but for the more than 20 million kids across the country who eat free school meals to learn, grow and thrive, summer can be full of uncertainty.

With your support, the Feeding America network is making sure kids have the resources they need to thrive during the summer months.

Last summer alone, the network provided over 30 million meals for kids. Here are three of the ways your support will be in action this summer:

The BackPack Program offers families free groceries distributed in backpacks to kids on weekends and during school breaks, including summer break, at over 10,000 locations across the country.

The School Food Pantry Program provides free food to students and their families. From prepared boxes to drive-thru pantries and farmer's market-style pickups, nearly 4,000 food pantries help get meals to kids by working with food banks, community partners and school administrators.

Kids Cafes are spaces that provide free meals to kids over the summer, on weekends and after school. It's not just food—kids enjoy fun activities and tutoring, too.

Those are just a few of the ways the Feeding America network of food banks helps kids get the food they need over the summer. Learn even more about the impact you can have this summer here >>

It's thanks to people like you that we're able to get kids the food they need so they can just focus on being kids.
