| Proposed legislation would cut funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which helps over 42 million people get enough to eat. Rising grocery prices mean neighbors are already experiencing hunger at rates we haven't seen in over a decade, and now, with SNAP budgets potentially cut, even more families could have trouble getting enough to eat and thrive.
Expensive housing and groceries, federal food aid cuts, and the end of school meals for the summer mean this is a particularly hard summer for families facing hunger. We need your help to keep the shelves stocked at food banks across the country. No one should face hunger, plain and simple.
