Different communities, different needs. But together, we can end hunger. |

Congress is currently considering a bill that could put 9.5 billion meals at risk for neighbors facing hunger in our communities. For comparison, the Feeding America network of food banks, meal programs, and church pantries across the country provided 6 billion meals last year. This comes at a time when the cost of food and healthcare is already out of reach for millions.

We're activating our Community Response Campaign, which supports local food banks in preparing for a sudden spike in demand, to meet this moment. Give now to help families facing hunger >>

The latest Map the Meal Gap study shows how hunger looks different in every community across the U.S.

This year, we found that nearly 20% of children across the country experience food insecurity. But in rural communities, those rates are estimated to be as high as 50%.

See how hunger impacts your community and how this data helps drive lasting change in the fight to end hunger.
