Salon headline reading: 'Hunger in America is getting worse, not better' according to an explosive USDA report.

Recent USDA numbers show we're in a hunger crisis—more people are experiencing hunger than at any point in the last decade. That's over 47 million people, including 14 million children.

Food banks are doing everything they can to make sure all of our neighbors have enough to eat, but as rates of hunger increase, they need support. We are looking for 1,000 donors to join us with a gift by midnight on 1/31 to help get food to our neighbors facing hunger.

Each of these 47 million people is a neighbor working hard to get enough to eat for themselves and their families. But with your support, the Feeding America network of food banks can be there for all our neighbors to help fill these gaps.

Your donation can help ensure kids and families have access to meals when they need them. It would mean so much to have you join us as one of the 1,000 people we need to make a gift now.

Please join us with a gift of $25 or more by 1/31 to help families put food on the table. A gift of $25 can provide at least 250 meals.

We are so grateful to have people like you powering the movement to end hunger.

Sincerely,

Linda Nageotte
