The wildfires in Los Angeles have forced thousands of our neighbors to evacuate. Many will have no home to return to. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by these devastating fires, and our thoughts are with the neighbors already dealing with hunger. Feeding America supports communities before, during, and after disasters as part of a nationwide network. We are working closely with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to assess damage and provide help where it's needed most. Food banks in other areas are also stepping in to help, providing emergency supplies. Your donations will help reach families affected by disasters like this with food, water, and other essentials. The fires in LA continue to rage and are already among the most destructive fires in California history. At least 24 people have lost their lives and entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, including homes, schools, businesses, and more. Sadly, natural disasters like fires, as well as floods, hurricanes and tornadoes, are becoming more frequent. But it's in these moments when we often see the true depth of our communities' strength and resilience. Providing meals and essentials after disasters helps people start to rebuild their lives.
