| As summer kicks into high gear, food banks face a unique challenge. Donations dip—but there's no drop in the number of people experiencing hunger. And right now, there's a bill in front of the Senate that proposes cuts to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid benefits by $1 trillion. Food banks across the Feeding America network are doing everything they can to ensure kids and families the food they need to thrive, but they need help keeping their shelves stocked right now.
