Karen Pittman here. Right now, 1 in 7 of our neighbors is facing hunger—a statistic I lived firsthand. Back in 2013, as a single mother, I knew the weight of trying to stretch every meal for my kids. I felt ashamed and alone. Finding support at a local food pantry changed everything and gave me the strength needed to keep going.

Ending hunger takes all of us looking out for each other. Because I know what that support can mean for a family, I'm proud to stand with Feeding America. Together with a network of 250+ food banks and thousands of community partners, they're sourcing food and packing boxes so families can get the meals they need.
