Jax Vineyards is a family operation founded by brother-sister team Trent and Kimberly Jackson. They created their first label in 1996, and soon after recruited cult winemaker Kirk Venge. Kirk has been involved in many elite Napa and Sonoma bottlings, but most notably he's had stints with B Cellars, Hunnicutt Wines and Macauley Vineyard.
Jax's Y3 line-up of wines focuses on bringing high-quality, varietal-driven wines at a reasonable price. The fruit for this Cabernet is sourced from some of the finest vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties, and that quality shines through in spades.
