Sampling Selection #1:
2022 Brick Barn Vermentino
$19.99 on sale
This Italian-style white wine from Santa Barbara is light, crisp and easy to drink.
Lots of minerality matched with intense fruit notes. This is a true stunner and absolutely perfect as the weather starts to warm up!
98 Points Harvest Terroir Challenge
"The 2022 Vermentino from the Brick Barn estate bursts with vibrant aromas of peach, pineapple, floral citrus, and a touch of salted sea breeze. On the palate, the wine dazzles with lively flavors of stone fruit and Granny Smith apple, intertwined with subtle hints of fresh green herbs. Its fleshy texture carries through to a clean, refreshing finish, showcasing both energy and balance in every sip. This Vermentino exemplifies the unique potential of the Santa Ynez Valley, offering a wine that is both dynamic and complex, with a lively, yet smooth mouthfeel." - Winery

Sampling Selection #2:
2023 Saint Martin Sancerre Rose
$19.99 on sale
It's always Rosé season!
We've featured the white Sancerre from Saint Martin in the past, and it was a blockbuster hit. This Rosé is on par with, if not better than, their white Sancerre!
100% Pinot Noir, this is a stunning bottle of Rosé that will have you thinking of warmer days ahead during these early Spring days.
"This wine is dry and elegant with a delicate pale salmon-pink color. It is fresh, expressive, and characteristic of a Sancerre rosé: Bright acidity and finesse, with subtle aromas of red berries, citrus zest, and a hint of floral notes. The palate is crisp and balanced, with a clean, mineral finish." - Winery

Sampling Selection #3:
2023 Brigadoon Lylee Willamette Pinot Noir
$24.99 on sale
The Willamette Valley in Oregon is solidified as a destination for remarkable Pinot Noir, and the team at Brigadoon makes approachable, food-friendly wines perfect for entertaining.
The Lylee Pinot Noir is crafted as a fruit-forward, approachable expression of the estate vineyard. It shows bright red fruit notes like cherry and raspberry with floral and earthy hints, balanced acidity, and light oak influence for a fresh, medium-bodied style.
90 Points Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2023 Pinot Noir Lylee pours a bright red color and offers notes of cherries, fresh herbs, roses, and dusty earth. The palate offers a chalky-textured grip to its tannins, balanced acidity, and a refreshing, medium-bodied frame. It’s a nicely styled Pinot Noir that can be enjoyed now or over the next 4-5 years."
90 Points Decanter:
"The Lylee tells the story of the estate site, and all 8 acres of Pinot Noir, with fruit coming from each of the five blocks. The oldest plantings are from 1997. The estate has a mix of clones, 115, 777 Pommard Wadensvil. Black tea, earth and juicy bramble fruits, and dessicated rose petals. Dark red berries and sweet earth on the palate, with ample structure. There is a grippiness to the wines, and a touch of rusticity to this wine, in the most elegant sense. 17% new oak for 10 months."

Sampling Selection #4:
2019 Bric Cenciurio Barolo Monrobiolo Di Bussia
$39.99 on sale.
This is going to be the star of the tasting table this Saturday! Classic Barolo from an all-time vintage!
This is a single-vineyard Nebbiolo from the renowned Bussia cru in Piedm ont, offering a classic, structured expression of Barolo. It shows layered aromas of dried cherry, rose, menthol, leather, and sweet spice, while the palate delivers red cherry, cranberry, and pepper framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and bright acidity.
While still a little young, we think this is drinking beautifully right now!
94 Points Kerin O'Keefe:
"Flying under the radar, quality has been noticeably rising over the last few vintages at this small, family-run estate that owns vineyards in both Barolo and Roero. Its vibrant 2019 Monrobiolo di Bussia, made from grapes grown in the cru from the same name in Barolo, has balsamic aromas of menthol that mingle with new leather, dog rose, underbrush and ground clove. Taut and still youthfully austere, the savory palate features juicy red cherry, cranberry, white pepper and star anise set against a backbone of fine-grained tannins. Bright acidity keeps it energized. Drink 2029–2039."
