The Vitis Unica comes from the El Ensueño estate in the cold climate area of Lo Ovalle in the Casablanca Valley. This cold climate valley produces some of the best wines in Chile, especially fresh reds such as Pinot Noir. Its marine influence allows it to cool the vineyards and provide a slow maturation of the vines giving great freshness, balance and elegance!
Easy drinking, and super smooth with incredible fruit and a long 60+ second finish, this is the kind of Pinot Noir to buy by the case ... especially at this price!

"The 2021 Pinot Noir Vitis Unica from Casablanca was aged for 12 months with 80% in French foudresand 20% in oak barrels. Ruby red in the glass. The tart, expressive nose features sour cherry, damp earth and roses. It’s austere but fairly lively in the mouth with mild, grippy tannins that lend depth.
