Hello Brew Friends,
I am thrilled to offer you a rare opportunity to grab some of the most coveted brews from Other Half Brewery’s Citra Hop Week.
Released in extremely limited quantities and were originally only to be released at the brewery, these beers showcase the best of Citra hops and are already generating buzz in the beer community.
I tried to get as much as I could, but sadly we got a small amount. The fact that we are able to even offer some is a blessing.
For those that don't know what a TDH or HDHC here is the best I can break it down:
Triple IPA (TDH):
A Triple IPA, often abbreviated as TDH for "Triple Dry-Hopped," is a style of India Pale Ale known for its bold hop character and higher alcohol content, usually ranging from 10% to 12% ABV. The "Triple" refers to the process of dry hopping three times during the brewing process, which amplifies the hop aroma and flavor. This results in an intensely hoppy beer with rich layers of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit notes, balanced by a robust malt backbone.
HDHC IPA:
HDHC stands for "High Density Hop Charge," a brewing technique that focuses on maximizing the hop impact in the beer. In an HDHC IPA, hops are added in larger quantities than usual, often at multiple stages during the brewing process, including during fermentation. This method intensifies the hop aroma and flavor, creating a more vibrant and aromatic beer. The result is a brew with a pronounced hop character, showcasing bold and complex notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine.
