Miraval and Whispering Angel fans ... go all in on this one!! You will thank us!

For every single reader looking to buy up Rose this summer, this is the Rose from Provence you have got to try!!

Ideally located 30 minutes from Saint-Tropez and Cannes, Chateau Sainte-Roseline is a historic site and a Cru Classé de Provence. Consider Chateau Sainte Roseline today as one of the only historical "Grand Cru" estates in Provence.

Provence is, indeed, the only French wine region outside of Bordeaux that has developed in 1955 a classification system for its wine estates. This is a classification mirroring that of the great Bordeaux châteaux based on the quality of the wines, their cellar reputation, their overall vineyard quality and the historic heritage of the properties. This classification was established by a commission of experts. There are now only 18 properties left, and Chateau Sainte Roseline is the only Classified Estate in the Les Arcs region, less than 30 minutes from Saint-Tropez.

The vineyards of Château Sainte-Roseline provide an exceptional terroir for Provence: The clay and limestone soils, as well as the underground springs enable controlled nourishment to the vines creating great wines, especially some balanced, mineral driven, fresh and zesty Rosé wines. These springs are bringing the natural freshness, balance, acidity and minerality that you will find in the Rosé wines made at Chateau Sainte-Roseline.

Chateau Sainte-Roseline was founded in the 11th Century by a hermit named Roubaud who loved the calm and peaceful scenery of the surrounding natural springs. Under the Pope Jean XXII (1244 - 1334) - more well-known from wine lovers for his role with the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation - some of the first vineyards were planted in this unique terroir.  In 1955, Chateau Sainte-Roseline received the "Cru Classé" designation. Since 2007, Aurelie Bertin took over the destiny of this great property into her hands, with the aim of making it one of the jewels of southern winemaking. She started modernizing it further and bringing it to new higher levels, steering it towards some sustainable and now organic approach, this is now their 3rd vintage being certified organic.

Chateau Sainte-Roseline produces some true terroir-driven wines, that drink well above their price point, and the flagship 2024 Lampe de Meduse is one you don't want to miss!

"This Rosé is a rich earthy expression with lots of peach aroma to back up its stoniness. The full bodied palate has fantastic minerality and an everlasting white pepper finish."

"A singular blend of 36% Grenache Noir, 28% Cinsault, 20% Mourvedre, 9% Tibouren, 2% Syrah, 3% Carignan, 1% Caladoc, 1% Rolle or Vermentino, the 2024 Cotes de Provence Rose Lampe de Meduse reveals aromas of strawberries, pomegranate and iodine. Medium-bodied, bright, supple and juicy, it has a delicate freshness that leads to a long, mouthwatering finish. This would be perfect with Mediterranean food."
