ADAPTIVE PROGRAMME

Halberg Foundation helps prepare volunteers for the Whakapapa Adaptive Festival.

Last week, our Adaptive Snow Sports team welcomed a fantastic group of volunteers for two days of training ahead of the Whakapapa Adaptive Festival in September. Led by our Snow School Adaptive team, the programme focused on building the skills needed to support guests with a wide range of adaptive skiing and snowboarding needs.

A big thank you to the Halberg Foundation for their continued support, with Max and Lawrence joining us up here to help deliver the training alongside our team. We're also incredibly grateful to every volunteer who gave their time. Their commitment plays a vital role in creating an inclusive experience and helping make the Whakapapa Adaptive Festival possible.

SNOW SCHOOL

Last chance to save 20% on Snow School lessons!

Make the most of later skiing with our Sunset Session at Lorenz's Bar & Café from 2:30pm! Tuck into our one-day-only Smash Tacos menu, enjoy Lakeman beer specials, giveaways and great music, and stretch your day on the mountain a little longer.

As always, we're aiming to deliver the best Sunset Session experience possible. If the incoming weather brings the snow we're hoping for, we may postpone the event to the following week rather than run it in poor conditions. We’ll share any updates via our social channels, website and the dedicated Facebook event page.
