We’ve upgraded to a new system at buy.whakapapa.com to improve how you access passes, online bookings and your guest account.

The new platform comes with a range of improvements designed to make managing your visits easier, including:

Already Purchased a 2026 Season Pass = Await Further Instructions

If you purchased a 2026 Season Pass or Three-Year Season Pass before 4 May 2026, please do not create a new account just yet. We’ll send you a separate email shortly with instructions on how to claim your new profile and access your pass perks and account information.

New to the Platform = Create a New Account

If you have not yet made a purchase through our new system, which launched on 4 May 2026, and do not already hold a 2026 Season Pass or Three-Year Pass, you’ll need to create a new online account before making a booking or purchase. Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help you get your new account set up.

Steps to Create a New Account

Step 1: Get Started
Head to the new shop and create an account, or start a purchase and follow the prompt to sign in and register.

Step 2: Enter Your Email
Enter your email address. For the best result, use the same email linked to your previous Whakapapa account.

Step 3: Verify Your Email
Check your inbox for a verification code. Enter the code and select ‘Continue’.

Step 4: Set Your Password
Create a secure password and fill in your basic details.

Step 5: Complete Your Profile
Finish setting up your profile. This is where your passes and orders will be stored and easy to access throughout the season.

Step 6: Buy Your Whakapapa Season Pass
If you are buying a Season Pass for the first time with Whakapapa, make sure to add a $5 Snow Card at check out!

2026 SEASON PASSES

Split your Season Pass payment and secure winter on your terms!

Early Bird Season Passes for Winter 2026 are still within reach, now with a flexible split payment option available for 2026 Season Passes and the Platinum Pass parking upgrade. From now until 17 May, you can pay 50% upfront and the remaining 50% on 30 June, making it easier to secure your place on the maunga while locking in the best value.

Snowland in Happy Valley is coming!

Tubing, sledding and snowplay come together in one open space, with a single ticket giving you access to it all.

We’re excited to launch Snowland at Whakapapa, running all winter long and kicking off from 30 May with an early winter experience to get you on the snow first!

Pair your Snowland Ticket with a Scenic Gondola ride for the best value and a full winter day out, with a June-only booking discount now available.

Season Pass Holders get 50% off Snowland Tickets in June, and 20% off for the rest of the season as an added Season Pass Perk.

SNOW SCHOOL

New to snow? This is the easiest way in.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start skiing or snowboarding. At Whakapapa, our Learn to Ski Package and Learn to Snowboard Package give first-timers everything they need in one simple booking, with a beginner lesson, rental equipment and lift access included.
