Introducing the Mercury Baba!

Aug 16, 2026, 1:45 PM•sabah

Morning Sabah People,

We've introduced plenty of metallics over the years, but this one is different.

Our new Mercury Baba starts with an incredibly soft suede, finished with a layer of metallic silver. The result is a Baba that's as shiny as it is soft — all the impact of a metallic, with the supple handfeel and comfort we're known for.

Our friend Grace wore 'em around her neighborhood last week, simply with a pair of jeans and a casual top. And that's exactly how we like them: just as fitting for an afternoon of errands as a night out with friends.

And speaking of suede, we're also excited to restock two of our favorite Sabah colors of all time: Seneca Green and Electric Blue.

A little shine, a lot of suede. Enjoy!

Sincerely,
The Sabah Dealer

Meet The Mercury Suede Baba.

What makes this metallic different? We’ve applied the silver finish to our signature soft suede, giving you all the shine of a metallic with the softness and flexibility of a classic suede Baba — right from the get-go.

Our friend Grace took them for a spin around her neighborhood in Fort Greene, Brooklyn — an afternoon of errands, made a little shinier.

Electric Blue and Seneca Green are back.

Two of our favorite suede colorways of all-time are back for the tail end of summer (and beyond).

We felt the collection needed a little infusion of sun, especially as so many of us depart for our last summer getaways.

We also felt these colors, thanks to their richness of color, can easily be worn into Fall. They don't just mean summer. They mean fun!

What started as “What's for lunch?” turned into a very good New York afternoon: bikes, tacos, a long walk, a few photos, and no real agenda. Which, come to think of it, is exactly the kind of day we make our shoes for.
