Where to Next? Lockhart, Texas 🤠

Mar 29, 2026, 2:00 PM•sabah

Morning Sabah People,

It’s the leather I’ve been reaching for most this Spring: Rough Out.

Soft from the tumble, rich in color, and full of texture — easy, distinct, and so damn comfortable.

Now available in Sabahs, Babas, and Alto Boots, we took all three down to Lockhart, Texas a couple weeks back — a classic town with a proper square, a courthouse at its center, and a reputation as the Barbecue Capital of the state.

We met up with our friends Cassie Courtney — a Lockhart local and longtime Sabah wearer — and Brandon Mike, a Texas-based artist working across sculpture, furniture, and installation.

Cassie showed us her Lockhart — coffee to start, a cold beer not long after, barbecue (of course), and a dip in the San Marcos River to close it out. We followed along, taking it as it came and documenting the day.

Read more in the journal below — then find yourself a pair of Rough Outs and get out there.

Sincerely,
The Sabah Dealer
