A Note from the Islands 🏖️

Happy Sunday Sabah People,

I'm writing this note on my final Sunday in Greece, where we've spent the last couple of weeks moving between the Peloponnese and various Dodecanese islands.

It's been a wonderful trip... long days relaxing on pebbled beaches, shaded by the native Tamarisk trees. Lots and lots of swimming... there's nothing like the salty, fresh Aegean sea. And lots and lots of feta too. The food is simple & delicious.

From our parking spots, we're often walking dusty paths and climbing through rocks to reach our final beach destination. That touch of friction making it all more interesting.

Evenings are spent around the town center of the Chora -- ancient stone streets maze between whitewashed buildings revealing an even more beautiful vista at every corner.

It's all quite magical, I must say.

For this trip, I've almost exclusively worn my Olio Suede Sabahs -- quite literally perfect from beach to town, dry or wet, dusty trails or smooth stone walkways. Whether we're hiking through rocks or chatting with new friends at the Plateia, they've been the perfect companion to Greece. And the color, well, it feels very Greek Islands appropriate too.

My girlfriend, this being her first trip to Greece, made the comment: "Sabahs really are perfect for every part of this trip. The only shoes I needed." Of course - that comment made me smile, and reminded me that Sabahs really are meant to be paired with the question: 'Where to Next?'
