Inspiration for Côte.

Kalimera Sabah People,

I’m writing again from a small island called Patmos in the Aegean Sea, which is perhaps the place that most inspired our latest fragrance, Côte.

I’ve been carrying a bottle with me throughout the trip - I spray & smell every so often as I also take in the scents around me.

The Aegean has a very particularly smell and we wanted to Côte to reflect that - not just the sea itself, but everything carried in the air around it: salt water, sun-warmed stone, wild herbs, citrus, coastal greens and dry earth.

Of course, when you carry a bright blue bottle of fragrance with you, people tend to want to smell it themselves - especially on the social island of Patmos.

The response has been quite nice as everyone has tended to recognize the relationship to that little blue bottle has to the blue sea surrounding us.

I’ll conclude by saying it’s nice to bring a product back to its source, and, to feel, you’ve created what you intended.
