Introducing Brownout 🟤

Hi Sabah People,

Today, we're introducing a fully tonal take on our signature Sabah & Baba.

To achieve it, we worked closely with the tannery that produces our water buffalo soles to overdye them in a rich brown, matched to the suede upper. The craft is evident in the subtle variations from pair to pair, the small imperfections that remind us of the traditional tanning process, and that mean no two pairs are exactly alike.

We took the tonal treatment all the way through: brown thread for our signature hand-stitched Sabah sole, and matching brown leather linings on both the Sabah & Baba.

The result is a familiar Sabah & Baba in an entirely new mood: deeper, sleeker and a little more refined. Easy with denim, but just as good dressed up -- and particularly well suited for the transition into Fall.

The Brownout Sabah & Baba are now available on the Sabah Portal and at all Sabah Houses. Enjoy!

BROWNOUT.

The idea behind Brownout was pretty simple. We wanted something a little sleeker and more pared-back, without losing everything we love about the Sabah and Baba -- the ease, the feel, and the comfort. A pair that felt right, just about anywhere.

Brownout feels especially at home in New York -- polished enough for the office, easy enough for a long walk through the West Village, and just right for a drink after work.

The tonality makes them easy with jeans and trousers, but just as good with dresses and skirts.

Brownout is a new kind of neutral for us — rich, tonal brown from top to bottom, made to soften, break in, and develop even more character with wear.

Available now on the Sabah Portal and all Sabah Houses. Enjoy!
